We are glad you have found us, and hope that as you navigate our pages, you come to learn who we are and whom we support.
Whether you are currently serving this Nation, you have begun to transition from active duty, or you have been honorably discharged or retired for years, we hope you will consider becoming part of one of the oldest American Legion posts within the American Legion’s Department of Ohio.
Our Charter permits membership based on the following criteria:
To join as a regular member, you must be able to present proof of an honorable discharge or separation showing a period of active military service during any one of the following periods:
  • April 6, 1917 to November 11, 1918
  • December 7, 1941 to December 31, 1946
  • June 25, 1950 to January 31, 1955
  • February 28, 1961 to May 7, 1975
  • August 24, 1982 to July 31, 1984
  • December 20, 1989 to January 31, 1990
  • Plus Desert Storm dates
    August 2, 1990 through the end of hostilities.
There are other types of membership opportunities available as well. Please use the “Send Us A Message” form at the bottom of this page to find out if you may qualify for membership in Sons of the American Legion or  Auxiliary.

You can use the short form below to make a secure credit card payment or use your own PayPal account to pay your annual dues or make a donation to support our Post. You can even designate how you would like your donations to be used.

The annual dues for 2019, are $38.00. We are implementing a new convenience fee for paying dues, or making donations online. The additional $1.40 will cover 100% of the fees we have to pay PayPal for processing your payment. In the past, we have paid these fees for you. Unfortunately, we can no longer continue this practice.

Thank you for your understanding. If you’d prefer NOT to pay this additional fee, you may still mail a check to the First Vice Commander. Please be sure to annotate the memo line of your check so we know if it is intended to pay for dues, or should be treated as a donation to one of the following:
